Pleasant natural edges and strong iridescence stand-out in this beautiful bowl.
Deeper color-tones in this piece, which is typically found in pieces coming from the outside edges of the buried Ancient Kauri logs.
Great shimmer flashing in this piece.
This bowl is 4 inches high and 5 inches is the largest diameter.
On one surface of this bowl I see a slight check opening, but this is not through the entire wall of the bowl.
This bowl has thick sturdy side walls and is suitable for re-turning on a lathe if this interests you.
