This is a beautiful Ancient Kauri bowl. This has very strong iridescence throughout, and a strong curl on one face.

It has thick walls, with a shallow empty bark inclusion on one face. The grain in the inclusion is really figured.

There is a crack on the top edge, which has been stable for many years, and is no longer moving. It lends testimony to the 50,000 year old treasure this bowl is!

It is 8 inches tall, and 11 inches across.
